When you write something important people may ignore you.
And that's okay.
If I say "water is sexy" you may think that's interesting, boring, silly, or stupid. Regardless, you may choose to not to ignore me for a few minutes.
If you think of the Dakota Pipelines and the protests surrounding construction of oil pipelines through sacred lands that may pollute waterways, you are probably worried that I messed up the slogan "Water is Life." You may be distracted by my misstep. That's okay, too.
In the end, it's MOST important that you keep talking about what you feel passionately about. For me, today, that's water.
I went to a community meeting yesterday where we discussed various advertising campaigns that focused on reducing sugary beverage consumption. We dissected what we drink and how many calories we all ingest. I realized that we are creating toxic environments in our bodies that allow weight, cancer, and diabetes to run amok. That's a big deal.
Water is important, sugary beverages are important. Write about whatever YOU think is important. Write a whole blog, a single post, an article, a book, a movie, a TV show, a play, a speech....JUST WRITE. #writeon
